Built on development.
Not a list of services.
Scoutt doesn't recommend services. It recommends developmental outcomes — and then maps the activities, therapies, schools and support that serve those outcomes for your specific child.
Diagnosis-agnostic
Instead of asking "What is your child's diagnosis?", Scoutt asks "What's currently challenging?" This means every child gets a relevant plan — diagnosed or not.
Outcome-led
Every activity, therapy, and service on Scoutt is tagged against one or more development domains. Recommendations match what the child needs, not what's most popular.
Complement, don't duplicate
If a child is already receiving SLT, Scoutt won't recommend more SLT. It recommends what works alongside it — extending progress into everyday settings.

The process
How your plan is generated
Every plan is generated in real time based on your child's specific profile. Here's exactly what happens.
01
You describe what's challenging
No diagnosis needed. Parents select specific observable challenges across development domains — communication, friendships, focus, confidence, and more.
02
We score all 8 domains
Scoutt maps your answers to development domains and scores each one: high priority, some support needed, a strength, or not yet assessed.
03
We check what you're already receiving
If your child is already in SLT, we won't recommend starting SLT. Instead, we recommend what complements it — drama club, social communication groups — to reinforce progress in real-world settings.
04
Recommendations target the gaps
Recommendations address highest-need domains first, use your child's interests to make them achievable, and always explain why each one fits this child specifically.
05
Every recommendation links to a provider
Each recommendation connects to Scoutt-listed activities, therapists, schools and support services — reviewed and trusted by families like yours.

For therapists & providers
Get matched to the right families
When you list your practice on Scoutt, your profile is tagged against the development domains you serve. When families generate a plan with those domains as high priority, your practice appears as a recommended provider.
This means referrals that fit — families whose children genuinely need what you offer, not random search traffic.
Founding Provider spots are limited — early listings get priority placement.
Transparency
A note on AI and human oversight
Scoutt uses Claude (by Anthropic) to generate personalised plans. The AI reasons from the Scoutt Development Framework — it doesn't retrieve from a fixed list. Every plan is generated fresh for each child's specific profile.
AI-generated plans are a starting point, not a clinical assessment. Scoutt is not a diagnostic service and does not replace advice from qualified healthcare professionals.
Recommendations marked with a ★ Expert reviewed badge have been validated by our team of specialists. We are actively working to review all recommendation types against clinical evidence.
